MEET THE TEAM
Paul Booker – Founder & Director
I grew up on this gorgeous Island from a young age and have many fond memories of endless summers spent on beaches, swimming in the sea and exploring anywhere my bicycle would take me!
After leaving school I spent time travelling in Australia and New Zealand, and worked in Oxford and London before returning to Cowes to get back into the world of estate agency, starting up my own agency in 2011.
I recently moved to Freshwater Bay and love being part of a thriving community. Living on the Island you can’t help but be drawn to activities that let you explore the beautiful countryside and coastline, and whether it’s running across Tennyson Down or taking the paddleboard out from Compton beach, there’s always plenty to do here!
I have worked in different sales environments since I left school many moons ago, and can count running several successful travel agents around London as part of my experience. I moved to the Isle of Wight in 2002 and became an estate agent and really haven’t looked back. I want to be the agent that I would like to deal with- hard working, not typical, empathetic and tenacious whether it is a vendor or buyer I’m helping. When I’m not at the agency, you can find me talking to the visitors at the Isle of Wight Zoo in Sandown about lions, tigers monkeys and lemurs as a tour guide- I’ve been doing this for several summers now and it adds another wonderful dimension to my life here. I am wife to Paddy and mum to three grown up children and whenever we can we’ll be found taking long walks with our two Jack Russell terriers’ in gorgeous spots of natural beauty around this island that we love to call home.
Lesley Cunningham – Technical support
I moved to the Island two years ago after working as a musician touring the USA and Europe. There are lots of benefits to living by the sea, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and there’s a real variety of landscapes here. When I’m not working I enjoy taking courses at Quay Arts, they have a great range of creative classes to get involved in. I also enjoy gardening, and the Island’s coastal climate provides an opportunity to grow some hardy tropicals that struggle to survive elsewhere. I couldn’t think of a better place to call home.
Steve Thearle – Photographer
Buyers can easily miss listings if photos aren’t an accurate reflection of a property. High resolution, well lit photos are the best way to ensure your home is seen in its best possible light. We’re proud to introduce Steve Thearle as our professional photographer on all our Gold properties.
Hi, I’m Steve Thearle, a photographer experienced in commercial, property, architectural, and promotional photography. I graduated from Guildford School of Photography, and have been a prominent Isle of Wight photographer for several decades. I co-owned a photographic studio for 20 years and helped tens of thousands of individuals, families and businesses show themselves to their best advantage. I’ve worked with many happy clients including English Heritage, the National Trust, Southern Housing, and GKN Aerospace.
I understand the subtleties of drawing the viewer into a selling shot. With the vendor and customer always in mind I strive to maintain the highest possible standards.
